Zion National Park Changes Road Closure Schedule

In response to the concerns of local businesses, Zion National Park officials have rearranged the road closure schedule for work on the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway on the eastern side of the park.

Superintendent Jock Whitworth says that under the new schedule there will only be nighttime road closures. These will occur from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
